Benin City — The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has released its official JAMB cut-off mark for the 2025/2026 academic session, a key benchmark for candidates seeking admission into the institution.
The general minimum score required for eligibility in the post-UTME screening is 200, but some highly competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Engineering require higher marks. Each department also has its own cut-off, determined by factors such as candidates’ performance, admission quotas, and catchment area considerations.
UNIBEN emphasized that only candidates who meet or exceed the cut-off will be eligible to register for the university’s post-UTME screening.
Prospective students are advised to check the specific departmental requirements on the university’s website before applying.
