The Institute of Education, University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), has announced the commencement of admissions into its Sandwich Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session, covering the 2026 contact session. The programme is targeted at prospective candidates seeking flexible university education, particularly teachers and working professionals who are unable to enroll in regular full-time studies.

The Sandwich Programme offers an intensive contact-session learning format, enabling students to earn accredited degrees while balancing work, teaching responsibilities, and personal commitments. UNIABUJA is offering 18 approved education programmes across sciences, arts, social sciences, and administration, including Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, English, Economics, Educational Administration, Mathematics, Physics, Primary Education, Social Studies, Guidance and Counselling, Geography, Integrated Science, Environmental Science, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Christian Studies, and History.
The programmes are designed to equip students with strong academic knowledge, professional skills, and effective teaching competencies.

Admission Requirements

100 Level Entry:

Five O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
Relevant subjects based on chosen programme

200 Level (Direct Entry):

NCE with a minimum of 10 points
Required O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
