Team New Nigeria (TNN) has announced that it will commence a nationwide membership registration exercise on Saturday, December 6, 2025, as part of its plans to expand and strengthen its grassroots base across the country.
The decision was taken over the weekend during a meeting of TNN’s Board of Trustees (BoT), which also approved the formation of a National Conference Organising Committee tasked with coordinating a major national convention for the emerging political movement.
In a statement signed by Prof. Morgan Gambo, Secretary of the National Communication Bureau, the BoT stressed the need to review and update the organisation’s membership records across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“The membership registration exercise will begin simultaneously in all 774 local government areas, starting at the ward level in each of the 8,809 council wards in Nigeria. All registration materials will be provided to ward officials by Thursday, December 4, 2025,” the statement read.
TNN also highlighted that the process will be strictly transparent and free of charge, with no registration by proxy allowed. Leaders at the state, senatorial district, local government, and ward levels have been instructed to ensure smooth implementation.
The party recalled that its online and physical membership registration first began on December 15, 2023, and since then, over 43 million registration transactions have been recorded, positioning TNN as one of the country’s most significant mass mobilisation platforms.
“We enjoin all members to cooperate fully and encourage others to join us in our common quest to rebuild a Nigeria that works for all,” the statement added.
