The Royal College of Nursing Sciences, Umuagara-Ezzangbo in Ebonyi State, has announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing and Midwifery programmes for the 2025 academic session. The institution urged interested candidates to apply early, noting that enrollment is currently ongoing.

According to the admission guidelines, applicants must have participated in the 2025 UTME, possess a valid registration number, and score at least 150. Candidates are also required to present a minimum of five credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB — with NABTEB results only combinable with NABTEB.

Applications can be completed online via the college portal at the official link provided. Alternatively, candidates may obtain hardcopy forms directly from the Registrar’s office on campus.

An application fee of ₦30,500 is payable exclusively through a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) generated on the college website. Payments may be made online or at any commercial bank, after which candidates must return to the portal to finalise their application and print the application slip required for the screening test.

The college cautioned prospective applicants against dealing with unauthorised agents, stressing that all payments and submissions must be processed solely through official channels.

In addition to the ND/HND programmes, the institution is also offering a four-month JAMB-UTME preparatory class, designed to strengthen candidates’ readiness for the UTME. Registration for the preparatory class closes on 31st December 2025, and the programme is recommended for applicants seeking to boost their admission prospects.

The management reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality training that meets national and international standards in nursing and midwifery. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply early and contact the Registrar for any inquiries or support during the admission process.
