Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, has dismissed as false and malicious a circulating image claiming the school’s campus was under attack by militants. The Nation Newspaper
In an official statement signed by the Deputy Registrar of Public & Alumni Relations, Opeyemi Olawore, the institution clarified that the widely‑shared photograph was generated by Artificial Intelligence and does not reflect any real security breach. The Nation Newspaper+1
The college assured the public, including parents, students, and residents of the Igboora community and surrounding Ibarapa region, that the campus is peaceful, normal academic activities are ongoing, and that the image is the work of “mischief makers, whose motives are unknown.” The Nation Newspaper
As evidence of the institution’s calm, OYSCATECH noted that just days ago — on November 28, 2025 — it held a matriculation ceremony for degree‑programme students, attended by parents and guests from across and beyond Oyo State. The Nation Newspaper
