The intervention, which included the donation of stationery and other instructional materials, aligns with the Education and Technology pillar of the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, focused on enhancing the quality of education across Lagos State.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Adelakun said the initiative was conceived to complement the state government’s ongoing efforts to reposition the education sector. She noted that the distribution of learning materials would ease the financial burden on parents while enabling pupils to concentrate fully on their studies without avoidable distractions.
According to the councillor, the School Initiative Programme—one of her flagship projects—underscores her commitment to investing in education and empowering the next generation of leaders.
