JAMB Publishes Additional UTME Results as Nationwide Examination Continues

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who participated in the second and third days of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as the nationwide exercise continues across accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

According to the examination body, the results form part of the ongoing phased release of scores for candidates who have completed the examination since it commenced earlier in April. The Board had earlier announced the release of the first batch of results for candidates who sat the exam on the opening day of the exercise.

The UTME, which serves as the primary gateway for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria, began on April 16 and is scheduled to run for several days in multiple sessions nationwide. Millions of candidates are participating in this year’s examination across designated CBT centres.

JAMB reiterated that candidates can access their results through the official SMS channels by sending the required command using the same phone number used during registration. The Board advised candidates to rely only on official platforms for checking their scores and to ignore fraudulent claims of result upgrades or manipulation.

As the examination progresses, the Board continues to monitor the process to ensure smooth conduct nationwide, while also reminding candidates to comply with all examination regulations. The phased release of results is expected to continue as more candidates complete the UTME in the coming days.
