The management of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, has officially announced the commencement of academic activities for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement, dated Saturday, February 28, 2026, was issued from the Office of the Registrar, signaling the start of a new phase of teaching, research and campus life within the faith-based institution.

According to the statement, the second semester takes effect from February 28, 2026, with all students expected to resume promptly to continue their academic programmes. The university welcomed both returning and continuing students, expressing optimism for a productive and impactful semester.

Management urged students to complete all registration formalities without delay and to actively engage in scheduled academic and co-curricular activities. It emphasized that compliance with registration requirements is mandatory for eligibility to sit for semester examinations and to maintain good academic standing.

Reaffirming its core values, the university stressed the importance of discipline, diligence and regular class attendance. Students were encouraged to settle in quickly and participate fully in all academic engagements, noting that consistency and commitment remain central to academic excellence.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, faculty and staff, the Vice Chancellor, Olasebikan Alade Fakolujo, extended his goodwill message to students, wishing them safe travels back to campus and a successful semester marked by meaningful learning and personal growth.

The Registrar, Dapo Adeniyi, who signed the statement on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, reiterated the institution’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and a structured learning environment.
