The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has released its programme-specific cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering clarity to thousands of candidates who chose the institution as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the list signed by the Registrar, professional courses emerged as the most competitive, with Law recording the highest cut-off mark at 273, followed by Nursing Science at 260. Other high-demand programmes include Medical Laboratory Science (230), Accounting (219), Journalism and Media Studies (218), and Business Administration (212).
Cut-off marks for other courses across the faculties of Engineering, Science, Education, and Social Sciences range from 150 and above. The university advised all applicants to carefully review the official list to confirm their eligibility for admission into their chosen programmes.
In its statement, FUOTUOKE urged candidates who meet the required cut-off points and satisfy other admission criteria to closely monitor their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal for updates. Successful applicants will have two weeks to accept their admission offers.
Registration for newly admitted students is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 1, 2025.
