In a bold move to combat youth unemployment and promote financial independence, the **Federal Ministry of Youth Development** has launched a nationwide financial education programme targeting the annual training of **100,000 Nigerian youths** in financial literacy, global trade, entrepreneurship, and investment.
The initiative, launched in partnership with **Investonaire Academy**, was announced in a statement issued Wednesday by the Ministry’s Director of Information and Public Relations, **Omolara Esan**.
Described as a **strategic national programme**, the scheme is designed to equip young Nigerians with practical financial skills essential for navigating today's fast-evolving economic landscape.
> “This initiative reflects the Ministry’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in today’s complex financial environment,” Esan stated. “By expanding access to financial education, we aim to transform lives, boost employability, and promote sustainable wealth creation across the country.”
