EduTV has announced the tentative postponement of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Inter-Faculty Debate, originally scheduled for February 4, 2026, to May 22, 2026.
The organisers confirmed that the rescheduling is intended to ensure the event upholds its standard of excellence, fairness, and maximum participation from all faculties of the university.
“While we recognize the anticipation surrounding the OAU Inter-Faculty Debate, this postponement is a strategic step to guarantee a better-coordinated and impactful event for students, partners, and the wider university community,” the statement read.
EduTV reassured students, faculty representatives, and sponsors that preparations remain ongoing and that updates will be communicated promptly through official channels. The organisers also expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding of all participants.
The OAU Inter-Faculty Debate, organised by EduTV, is designed to foster intellectual engagement, public speaking excellence, and healthy competition among students of Obafemi Awolowo University.
