The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI), has extended its warm congratulations to Professor Olu Aturamu on his appointment as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the institution.

In a statement signed by the SUG President, Sen. Comr. Ayeni Opeyemi (Team MAVAS), the Union described Prof. Aturamu as an exemplary scholar, visionary administrator, and father figure whose leadership is defined by humility, innovation, and dedication to academic excellence.

According to the statement, the appointment has been widely celebrated across the university community as a recognition of Prof. Aturamu’s decades of service, integrity, and contributions to the institution’s growth. The Union noted that his emergence as Acting Vice-Chancellor was both well-deserved and timely, given his deep understanding of BOUESTI’s vision and developmental priorities.
