The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially denied rumors circulating on social media suggesting the cancellation of the English Language paper in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
In a statement released by the council, WAEC described the claims as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard any such reports. The examination body confirmed that the English Language exam was successfully conducted as scheduled and that there are no plans to cancel or reschedule any component of the examination.
