Founder of the Abisola Omisore Education Support Initiative, Abisola Omisore, has provided over 250 free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to residents of Ikeja Local Government Area in Lagos State.

According to a statement from Omisore’s office, this initiative highlights her dedication to advancing education within the council. The beneficiaries, who are financially disadvantaged UTME applicants, will also receive assistance in completing their registration.

Omisore further stated that if elected as chairman of Ikeja LGA in the upcoming council elections, she would expand this initiative. Additionally, she pledged to award scholarships to at least three students who achieve the highest UTME scores in 2025.

Expressing her passion for youth development through education, Omisore emphasized her commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that opportunities are available to all, regardless of tribe or gender. She also assured residents that if given the chance to lead, her administration would deliver improved services to the community.

One of the beneficiaries, Abimbola Agbeniga, an aspiring Economics student at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, expressed her gratitude, stating that the initiative had eased her financial burden. She also expressed confidence that by performing well in the UTME, she could secure a scholarship to support her tuition fees.
