In a significant gesture aimed at bolstering educational access, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has donated educational materials to 2,000 underprivileged students across Lagos and Ogun States. At Iponri Estate Junior High School in Lagos, approximately 600 students received bags containing writing materials and the award-winning African-based science fiction novel What Sunny Saw in the Flames by Nnedi Okorafor. The school's Vice Principal, Mrs. Lydia Omowumi Adenigba, expressed gratitude, stating, "We appreciate Julius Berger for this laudable effort. It has been a long time since we saw such an effort from any organisation operating in Lagos.
Similarly, at Community High School in Ibafo, Ogun State, about 650 students were provided with educational materials. The Vice Principal, Mr. Olaniyi Olusola, thanked the company, saying, "This is a very worthy effort by your company to uplift the education of our students. We appreciate Julius Berger.
