The American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, on Monday, matriculated 300 undergraduate and postgraduate students into the 2025 Fall semester, charging them to embrace the values of integrity, respect, and responsibility.
Addressing the new intakes at the ceremony, the President of AUN, Prof. DeWayne Frazier, reminded them that the institution was founded to nurture world-class leaders, innovators, and job creators.
“If you have integrity, people will believe in whatever you do or say. If you respect people, they will respect you in return. And when you handle your responsibilities well, you become the hallmark of success and development,” Frazier said.
He encouraged the students to take full advantage of AUN’s state-of-the-art facilities and assured them of maximum support from both academic and non-academic staff to ensure their success. Frazier also commended the university community for its cooperation, pledging that AUN would continue to positively impact its host environment.
Presenting the newest classes of 2027, 2029, and 2030, the Vice-President of Administration, Daniel Okereke, reminded the students that the world was in their hands to shape for technological and human advancement.
“AUN provides platforms that nurture hidden potential, shaping students into leaders the world cannot ignore, whose services are in demand across industries both locally and globally,” Okereke said.
With the latest matriculation, AUN continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Nigeria’s foremost private universities committed to academic excellence, innovation, and leadership development.
