A former transport minister and former Governor of Rivers State in Nigeria, Rotimi Amaechi, graduated with a bachelor's degree in law from Baze University in Abuja. Amaechi, who also aspires to run in the 2023 presidential election under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) party, convocated on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The former minister in full graduation gown also shared pictures of the convocation ceremony on his personal page. Baze University is a private higher education institution, founded in 2011 by Labor Party vice-presidential candidate, Yusuf Baba Datti-Ahmed. The organization located in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, has seen many famous citizens, especially politicians. Among these politicians are two former senators from Kogi and Anambra states, Dino Melaye and Ifeanyi Ubah. Another famous figure who graduated from this school includes the former minister of aviation, Osita Chidoka.
